MLX - Hours of Operations (New Issue)

The MLX Portal and the New Issue application are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Allocations will only be available subsequent to the pricing of each transaction.

MLX - Hours of Operations (Equity Trading)

The MLX Portal and the Equity Trading application are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Trading / Transaction Hours
Orders can be entered via the application at all times except for the hours of 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM (EST); orders entered during these hours will be rejected. All orders entered between 5:30 PM and 7:30 AM (EST) will be queued for processing on the next business day. When processing begins the next business day at 7:30 AM (EST), queued orders will be eligible for acceptance and acknowledgment by Merrill Lynch. Orders entered on business days during the hours of 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (EST) will be processed and eligible for acceptance and acknowledgement as they are submitted. If you do not receive timely acknowledgement of your orders, please contact MLX Client Services.

Scheduled downtime for back-end connectivity occurs between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM (EST) during which time orders will be queued for processing. In addition, service may be interrupted periodically for site maintenance or an emergency. The MLX Portal and the Municipal Bond Trading application are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Trades can be entered via the application between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (EST).  Users will be able to view offerings and access other non-execution functions outside trading hours.

Trading / Transaction Hours
Transaction hours are subject to change daily based on country, currency, product and trading considerations. Generally, trades can be entered via the application between 7:30 AM- 5:30 PM. To get specific daily updates listed by product, click "Opening Hours" in the left hand navigation bar within the application. If you have any questions, trading desk personnel may be reached during the hours listed above in London.

MLX - Hours of Operations (Stock Loan Availability)

The MLX Portal and the Stock Loan Availability application are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The data in the application is updated as follows:

U.S. and Canadian Availability is updated once per day, usually around 7 am EST. International Availability is updated hourly from Sunday 9pm (London time) through to Friday 11pm (London time). There are no updates for U.S./Canadian and International Availability over the weekend.

MLX - Hours of Operations (Global Foreign Exchange Trading)

The Global Foreign Exchange and Global Foreign Exchnage Trading Application is available 24 hours a day, six days a week except for Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Trading / Transaction Hours
Price requests can be entered via the application from Monday 5 am (Singapore time) to Friday 5pm (U.S. Eastern Standard Time). The value dates of all trades entered after 5PM U.S. Eastern Standard Time, Monday-Thursday will reflect a trade date of the following calendar day.

Scheduled Downtime, Site Maintenance or Emergency
Scheduled downtime for system end of day processing occurs between 5:00 PM and 5:15 PM (U.S. Eastern Standard Time) during which the system will be inaccessible. In addition, service may be interrupted periodically for site maintenance or an emergency. Purchase & Sales
Though offsets can be viewed 24 hours a day, the Manual Offset Report will only allow the entering of offsets between the hours of 2am EST and 6pm EST. Please contact your Client Service Representative to perform offsets outside these hours.
